Shelley Doty is a master acoustic and electric guitarist.  From rhythm, to slide, to lead, her sound is at once universal and all her own. Always an amazing performer, her vocals are as much at home on a rock stage as an intimate acoustic concert.

 

Emily Shore brings a jazz sensibility, storytelling and dexterous guitar playing to the project.  Her songs take you from beauty to contemplation all the while weaving in soulful harmonies and a bit of laughter.

 

Maggie Forti's smooth, luscious voice illuminates songs in a way that is deeply comforting and utterly stunning. Her soaring vocals and finely crafted originals take you on a ride, often bringing you out to the wide open spaces and to those deep within.

 

Andrea Prichett's soulful vocals speaks to a larger truth and justice that moves the mind, heart and soul. A former member of Rebecca Riots, her solo performances highlight that which is so generous and true about the world at large and in our own backyard.

 

Each song from Green and Root depicts a rite of passage delivered with honesty and passion.  Together they take their listeners on a journey through universal yet unique life experiences, each song delivered with moving melodies, driving rhythm and memorable harmonies.

 

Deb Lane lane is the glue that holds the band together, and the fire that takes the music up several amazing notches. Deb's playing is what will keep you tapping your foot all the way through Monday morning.

Wildcat Canyon started as a group of friends playing in Berkeley, California. They jammed at gatherings and music benefits and had so much fun, they began performances as a group in 2011. These seven musicians, each with her different take on the folk singer-songwriter genre, have diverse and extensive musical backrounds as solo artists; together they are a must see powerhouse collaboration! Here is a brief introduction to each member!
